Sheffield's Last Tram Week 1960

A selection of images from the Museum's collection illustrating some of the activities which took place during the last week of Sheffield's first-generation tramway, from 2 to 8 October 1960.

Decorated 349 toured the city during the week.

A special tour on 2 October.

Car 46 was test-run prior to the final day's procession.

Works car 330 is seen at Millhouses, with the abandoned loop in the background in the process of being resurfaced for buses.
