Stone Workshop Scaffolding

Scaffolding is at present being erected for the Stone Workshop's renovation.

Temporary scaffolding stood in front of the Stone Workshop back in 1973 for Granada Television's seven-part adaptation of Howard Spring's novel 'Shabby Tiger', set in 1930s Manchester.

2011 Events

A list of 2011 events can now be found on our website.  Our first big event of the season will be the ever popular Easter 1940s Weekend, booking forms for re-enactors, vehicle owners and traders will be available to download in the next couple of weeks from our website.

Santa Special - 11th and 12th December

We are delighted to announce that we will be open for Santa Specials this weekend (11/12 Dec) Further details will be posted on the website later in the week.

Santa Special on 4 and 5 December Cancelled

The Santa Special which was due to take place on the 4th and 5th of December has been cancelled due to snow.  We apologise for any inconvenience.

Santa Specials are still planned to go ahead on 11/12 and 18/19 December, weather permitting, please check the blog and website for up to date information nearer the time.
